Portrait of Jayveer Vasava Open to remote roles

Jayveer Vasava

Cyber security engineer in training. I work on security operations, digital forensics and AI security, and I'm doing my M.Tech in Cyber Security at Parul University.

About me

I'm a cyber security student who likes finding out what actually happened. My M.Tech research is a forensics framework that collects evidence from Windows, Linux and cloud systems automatically, then connects the pieces into one investigation timeline.

Before cyber security I studied core computer science and interned as a web developer, so I understand how the systems I defend are built. I've completed the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate and compete in CTF events to keep my hands-on skills sharp.

I'm looking for remote roles as a SOC analyst, security analyst or digital forensics analyst, with teams in India or abroad.

Research & projects

New lab projects are added here as I finish them, each with its code on GitHub.

M.Tech dissertation Paper under peer review, IJICS

A Scalable Cross-Platform DFIR Framework for Automated Evidence Collection, Correlation and Cloud Forensic Investigation

When a system is breached, investigators lose hours collecting logs and artifacts by hand from different machines. This framework automates collection across Windows, Linux and cloud environments, correlates the evidence into one timeline, and keeps a verifiable chain of custody.

The research paper passed initial screening at the International Journal of Information and Computer Security (Inderscience) and is now in peer review. Phase I is complete and the implementation is in progress.

How an investigation flows through it

  1. CollectPull logs, memory and disk artifacts from each platform
  2. PreserveHash every item to keep the chain of custody intact
  3. CorrelateLink events across machines and cloud accounts
  4. ReportProduce a timeline an investigator can act on
Completed, Jul–Dec 2025

AI-Based Cloud Intrusion Detection: a review study

A survey of how machine learning and deep learning models detect intrusions in cloud environments, comparing datasets, detection accuracy and the gaps that still need work.

Next in the lab: an AI-powered SOC assistant that triages Wazuh alerts and maps them to MITRE ATT&CK.
